Student Outcomes Focused Governance
Disclaimer
The Roosevelt School District Governing Board is committed to a Student Outcomes Focused Governance model that prioritizes improving student outcomes as its fundamental mission. The operating procedures outlined in this document are designed to align the Board's decisions, discussions, and actions with this priority.
While the Board recognizes the importance of addressing operational and administrative matters, these must always be considered within the context of their impact on student achievement, equity, and success. Board members are expected to remain focused on governance-level responsibilities and avoid overstepping into management functions, allowing the Superintendent and staff to execute day-to-day operations.
These procedures serve as a guiding framework to ensure that the Board collaborates and strategically works to fulfill its vision of fostering a culture of excellence, equity, and trust that drives meaningful, measurable improvements in student outcomes.
