The Student Wellness Department held a bullying prevention poster contest, with an 8th-grade student from Pastor School winning, and her artwork will be displayed across the district. The 23/24 climate survey showed 50% of students feel their school is bully-free. The department also partnered with the Bush School to discuss self-esteem, diversity, and cultural experiences.
The Lions Club provided free eye exams and glasses for academic success, and the SEL department promoted literacy with books on kindness and self-esteem.
Additionally, social workers and counselors received grief facilitator training to better support grieving students.
