We are closed tomorrow in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. We reopen Tuesday morning at 7am. Can't wait to see you again!
One hundred is a lot! Tuesday, our school celebrates our 100th day of the 2024-2025 year! Any student on time and at school for the full day will get to participate in a free dress day -- dress like you're 100 years old, wear 100 of something, or dress up fancy like you're $100 bucks! Can't wait to see your spirit!
Join us for a meaningful day of community, celebration, and reflection at the Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration on Saturday, January 18, 2025!
The event will take place at Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary School

Kick-off & March: 9:45 am
The event officially begins with a community march in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Come out to honor his legacy and strengthen community bonds through a day of celebration, education, and inspiration.

Friday, Dec. 20 will be an early release day.

We look forward to sharing in the celebration of the season with our students for Spirit Week next week! For Friday's Pajama Day, pajama pants are allowed. Pajamas must be clean and follow the dress code standards. No nightgowns. No pajama tank tops. No see-through pajamas. Let's see all of your creative ideas and festive cheer!

Dear Roosevelt School District Parent(s)/Guardian(s),
The safety of our students and staff is always our priority. We want to inform you that we have been made aware of messages that are circulating nationally among students through text message and social media that is threatening in nature. Similar messages and social media posts have recently been reported in districts across the country.
We are aware of a few of our students who reported receiving messages. However, there have been no confirmed threats against any of our schools. We take all reports and concerns very seriously. We are in communication with Phoenix Police regarding this matter and they indicated that there is no imminent threat towards any of our schools. We are sharing this information with you in case your child hears about this or receives the message.
We want to remind everyone that we take all threats seriously. We encourage parents and guardians to have open conversations with their children about the severity of making or sharing threats. The safety of our students and staff is our top priority, and we remain fully committed to maintaining a secure and supportive environment for all. Should you or your child ever have concerns or learn of information you think is relevant to school safety, please contact your school’s front office and law enforcement.
Support from our counselors and social workers is always available for students who may have concerns.
