Imagine Rugby hosted a groundbreaking professional development session for all Roosevelt School District P.E. teachers at Cloves C. Campbell Sr. Elementary School, marking a milestone as Roosevelt becomes the first school district in Arizona to receive this exclusive opportunity.
The event saw all 11 teachers walk away with a complete rugby kit and full access to a comprehensive 5-day rugby curriculum. Mikey from Imagine Rugby led the session, with the support of five players from Grand Canyon University’s men’s rugby team and three local youth coaches, providing hands-on training and insight into how rugby can be incorporated into P.E. classes.
This exciting partnership promises to equip RSD teachers with the tools to introduce the dynamic sport of rugby to students across the district.
